Holy cow, you guys are in for a treat. If you drove by our house at all in the last year or so and then in July/August 2017, you got to see the transformation of our landscaping first hand. It went from downright dreadful to absolutely amazing so I'll be sharing the before, during and after photos you have GOT to see!
Today's post is all about the before photos. I'm almost embarrassed to show the world these photos but it's also a little comedic. I'll just leave it at that.

2017 Goals {4}
So where did the last two months go? Seriously!?!?! Unfortuately, as my work life got super busy, so did my personal life. Guess what I did? REVERT BACK TO BAD HABITS! Ugh. I don't have the best perseverance so it was too easy for me to fall back on all of the things I did to gain weight. Drinking too much, eating too much pasta, not getting great sleep, not drinking enough water, not working out. These are my daily challenges that I haven't been meeting very well lately. With that said, I'm ready to jump back in!
You can read up on my past 2017 Goals updates here: #1, #2, and #3. I'm really excited to get started again!
GOAL #1 - Read
The last time I posted, I had started The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying. Though I have managed to declutter quite a bit............(IE: Garage Sale: I got rid of a lot of baby clothes at our sale April and completely cleared out my dining room which still stands empty to this day... AND Sewer problems: We cleaned out our basement so there's literally nothing sitting on the floor!!!)...........I haven't gotten past the 1st chapter. It certainly is an interesting read so far and though I've heard mixed reviews, I'm interested to finish the book. Our home still seems to be in a constant state of disarray. I would love to feel like we have a place for everything and for it to all feel purposeful. Let's face it, we've got a lot of junk! I've thought a lot about the different problem areas in our home so now it's just about getting down to business! I'm hoping this book helps but I'll be finishing it later.
With trying to bring back some other goals, I thought some light reading would be appropriate for now. I went through all of the books I own (only because we needed to clean out the basement of course) and decided to re-read all of my John Grisham books before deciding what to do with them. I only have 6-7 of them so it shouldn't take me too long. I decided to start with the oldest John Grisham book I own, which is also the book I read the summer I met Gary in 2005. Crazy how time flies. I know that a photo exists of me holding that book in Miller Hall, but I for the life of me could not find it. When I do, I'll post it :)
GOAL #2 - Control Finances Better
The saga that is our basement is almost complete. We had a water line leak that did eventually get fixed, we got the exterior faucet replaced and we need to do minor repair to the sprayfoam or whatever it's called in the basement where our pipe connects to the wall. It's still leaking a little bit of water (not sewer) but not a terrible amount. Next up is to get the basement professionally cleaned (which was completed this week!!!), hence why we needed to declutter and get everything off the floor. The amount of boxes I held on to is absolutely ridiculous so that feels really good to be done with even though it had developed a bit of mold growth. #notfuntohandle! Once the space is clean, we also plan to get all of our equipment serviced - water softener, water heater, furnace, air conditioner, and the basement washer/dryer. I don't know how the sewer damage or mold growth may have affected all of this so it'll feel good to make sure they are all in tip-top shape.
Of course, I don't want to be done with home repairs yet! I also want to get our duct work cleaned because we've never done that since moving in five years ago. It's just nasty in those! Definitely time to get them cleaned and wouldn't it be nice if we found Gspice's wedding ring in the process.....
Also on the docket, landscaping! I'm so stickin' excited about this. We've got so many weeds and trees sprouting everywhere and our hardscape area is pitiful. I can't wait for it to be fresh and updated so we can use it better. The big weed garden by our carport will also be removed and that space with be leveled and reseeded so I think we'll plan to put the kids' toys over there. I suspect this will be completed within the next few months.
As you can tell, it'll be important for us to manage our money well. I've developed our plan for July so it'll take dedication to stick to the budget. Let's plan on weekly check-ins, okay, dear?
GOAL #3 - Cook more, Cook Smarter
My last post was all about how well I have been doing with this. Man, how different things look today! I've completely fallen off the wagon but reading through my last post is very encouraging. I bought a larger CSA share this summer and I plan to put that to good use - not only for me but for the boys too. They aren't huge fans of vegetables these days but they sure do love fresh green beans and sugar snap peas. I would also love to get other produce and add them to their favorite dishes to bring more veggies to the plate. I need that for me too because I'm pretty basic with my vegetable tastes. I'm eyeballing this particular recipe despite the summer season so we'll be giving that a try here soon.
I've also become highly addicted to fresh basil and green onions. I got my hands on them at the Farmers Market a couple of weeks ago and I now put them on everything I eat. SOOOOOO GOOOOOD! I got a new recipe from a meal I had in the Luther cafeteria just a few days ago that I plan to try out and you better believe it'll have some green onions on top :) I'll share the recipe soon!
GOAL #4 - Form Healthy Habits
Habits take time to form of course but breaking them is oh so annoying! I was doing so well the last time I posted so I need to get back to that. What's changed since then is that we are being a bit more intentional about getting all of the boys' energy out before their bedtime. We were battling the "I'm not tired because it's still so bright outside" for weeeeeeeeks and that meant they weren't sleeping until at least 8-8:30 but then waking up between 5:30 and 6 every morning. Talk about grumpy toddlers! It's rough when they don't get the amount of sleep they need! Well now, we just stopped fighting it.
After the boys eat dinner, we now go for a walk, go to the pool, go to the park or anything else active. It tires them out and they have been sleeping until last least 6:45 every morning. It's been great. I even got a workout completed one morning when our alarms went off early enough. If I can squeeze a workout in then, that would be great but that might not be an every day occurrence.
I also found a new workout geared for my arms and more precisely, my arm flab. I would love to make that go away so this is something I plan to implement on a regular basis. You can't beat a 12-minute workout!
As far as our 30 pound weight loss goal, let's see how far we can get before our September deadline!
GOAL #5 - Travel
After thinking about it for a month, we have confirmed with each other that we DEFINITELY still want to go to New Orleans. I just recently booked our hotel and am waiting to book our flights so if you have any suggestions on that, LET ME KNOW! I don't buy plane tickets very often. We haven't planned much else out but we do hope to do one of the haunted tours and try out a lot of different restaurants. I'll do more planning in the weeks to come!

I've got a confession to make...
I don't like to vacuum. That's not my confession but that's a good place to start.
I don't vacuum all that often because it's often a struggle. For one, Gspice has seriously super annoyingly sensitive nostrils. I get it, allergies and what not but I literally cannot vacuum if he's in the house or will come home within 4-6 hours of me vacuuming. Sometimes, I just vacuum anyway and hope he won't have a reaction. Sorry, Gspice.

Secondly, we have to pick up the mess before I can vacuum and that doesn't always happen. I can pick things up quickly enough but I'm often pretty tired when I finally get a chance to clean up and then am not motivated to vacuum. I'd rather nap, thank you!
That brings me to my next point. You should move things around when you vacuum so you can vacuum underneath. This is where I should confess that rarely happens. Sure, I'll move the chairs and the ottoman but EVERYTHING ELSE stays put.
Until yesterday.
Ladies and gentlemen, I moved the couch.
Guys, this couch has not moved since June 2012. You can imagine what the floor might have looked like because I'll spare you a photo. I didn't even take one because it will forever be seared in to my brain. Just imagine lots of missing books, toys, pacifiers and sippy cups. Add a heathly layer of dust and cat hair and there you go!
Now all I need to do is move our large king bed....

Addicted to Busy & All Sorts of Crazy
These two phrases perfectly describe our life right now.
All Sorts of Crazy describes our life with two littles under the age of two. Because really, who in their right mind decides to have two kids so close in age? Well, WE DID! I absolutely love that Owen and Jack are so close in age. I can tell without a doubt that Owen loves his little brother and that may be one of the cutest things. Jack, too, is enamored by what Owen does since he's always moving or talking. I have high hopes that they will become the very best of friends.
Buuuttttt.......having two littles under the age of two is simple put - ALL SORTS OF CRAZY! It's a struggle to do quite a few things but I'm finding that it's all about routine and how you choose to respond to any given situation. Patience is key and I'll admit, I sometimes (or a lot of times) run out of that pretty quickly. Owen recently learning how to climb out of his crib is a major struggle; Jack not sleeping through the night is a serious struggle.
This is what we've signed up for and we are braced for the challenge. Major meltdowns, potty training, paci weaning and a little tot that will soon learn to walk - bring it on!
Addicted to Busy is another phrase that perfectly describes our everyday life.
Let's be real, loans suck. I recently took a position in not one but two different places. One, my full-time day job at Luther, is pretty awesome. I love working with spreadsheets and numbers and sitting at a desk. I also love working with students and getting to interact with them.
But do our two full-time day jobs do the trick in us paying down our debts as aggressively as we'd like? Of course not. Two littles in daycare really does a number on our budget.
Wow.
So, in comes my second job at Rubaiyat, a local restaurant. I love that job for the night hours, the consistency, meeting tons of pretty cool people, and making good money in a short amount of time. To get the most out of that position, I'm trying to work as much as I can. Gspice is a pretty sweet dad and takes care of the boys while I am away at night. THIS allows us to pay debt down in the aggressive manor we'd like. In the past month alone, we paid off two student loans!
Yes, I will admit, our life is a little out of control right now. However, we're both fully aware and accepting of it. The boys will keep us on our toes for awhile but that'll eventually simmer just a little bit. We'll eventually pay off our loans (GOAL: less than a year from now!) and I won't have to have a second job and Gspice won't have to be a single parent.
We'll get there!

I wanna get chocolate wasted!
This is the time of year I ALWAYS look forward to: Daylight Savings Time. That extra hour of sleep is something I dream about for months before it's actually supposed to happen. Literally.
Somehow, though, I always figure out some way to completely under-utilize that extra hour. No, let's go with UN-utilize. Let me recap my day.
Saturday, November 5
approx. 8:30a - wake up
shower
1.5 hours of wii fit
read one chapter in my book
2:15p - go to work
run up and down the stairs for 8 hours
10:40p - come home from work
poop around on the computer
Sunday, November 6
12:00a - watch 2 episodes of Dexter
(meanwhile - DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME! )
2:00a that has now become 1a - try to fall asleep
the actual 2a - finally fall asleep
8:30a - wake up
How much sleep did I get? 6.5 hours. Realllly? This happens every time! Talk about completely wasted.
However, I knew this was going to be the case. As you may recall - I wii fitted for 1.5 hours. In that 1.5 hours I jogged in place for 30 minutes (while watching a top chef rerun!) and then did the bike thing twice, once on the ocean scenic view course which then opened up the expert level. I thought, why not?!
That was a bad idea. It took me 42 WHOLE MINUTES to complete the expert level.
At the time this was perfectly fine. I was feeling good and ready for work. But what happened at work? What normally happens of course - running up and down the stairs! I'm pretty sure I was running for 90% of my shift. What a great workout but wholly buckets my legs and feet were on fire.
To recap - it was my overstimulated lower limbs and and overstimulated mind that kept me awake. Let's keep that in mine for next time.

Waitress: "What would you like to drink?"
Me (matter of fact-like): "Guinness."
Really?
This is a recap of our trip to the Irish Bar. I was so excited to eat some fish and chips that I kinda forgot that I most certainly do NOT like Guinness. Gary and I both didn't catch it because we're awesome like that.
Oops.
To top it all off, Gary ordered a well-done burger. It came back rare.
The only amendable moments of our trip to the Irish bar? The "chips" were delicious. Oh and the waitress felt bad about the beer and the burger so we got the beer free.
I'll allow it. :)

First Friday {4}
The "First Friday" blog post has made a comeback! Technically speaking, this is the 5th First Friday but August 5 was not a good day. It was the day after finding out that Emma had spina bifida. Gary and I were too scared to really enjoy anything. But alas, September's First Friday arrived and I had some pretty lofty dreams. I spent Friday figuring out everything I wanted to do/buy and created this list:
You can see I planned quite a few things :) I thought I could do all this while Gary was at work. To say I was excited is an understatement.
Gary and I then went to Hard Rock for our dinner date. We told each other that once his first pay check arrived, that is what we'd do. It was delicious. As was his paycheck. I'm so proud!!
With a long to-do/buy list looming, I gave Gary a ride to his first appointment. As I was driving away, it was then I realized that I FORGOT to take the debit card from him. I forgot. All my lofty dreams came to a screeching halt. Sad day. I didn't want to lose my motivation momentum so my list turned into this:
Not as much fun but as you can imagine, crossing these things off is quite nice.
Here are pictures to prove it :)
Notice that "shower" has yet to be crossed off. Normally, I would consider 3pm a little too late to even consider showering for the day. BUT. Gary, Gary's dad, and myself have plans to go to the Saint's game tonight. I'm excited. $1 beers. Bring it. I now have to go fetch some laundry so I can fully cross out LAUNDRY!! 6 loads is way too many. If I had more quarters, I'd make it 7. Oh wells.

gross.
I came home from work an hour early today but to be honest, I'm surprised I lasted that long. I knew when I went in that it would be a loooong day. I felt a little weird and soon felt really warm, then really cold. Yeah, fever-like symptoms. Not my fav. Anyway, it was really only bad when I was in my office alone. When I was out and about or distracted in a meeting (I got to do some housing assignments! It brought me back to my FAVORITE part of my summer job!) it was completely fine. Eventually I mustered up the courage to ask to leave early. Believe me, I don't even understand that concept. I've never had to leave work because I was sick before. I find it weird. I'm sure that'll change though :)
Sooo yes, I took a wee little nap and I felt sooooo much better. Then, I started watching the Top Chef I missed. Bad idea. They had to cook with bugs.
Now I just feel nauseous....
and hungry....

The ONLY negative from our wedding weekend :)
Disclaimer: This isn't the nicest post I've written. It's me getting some frustration out on "paper" and honestly, I may end up deleting it down the road. Read with caution and know that I have forgotten all about this unfortunate situation.
I want to get this out of the way because really, our wedding was perfect. I loved every second of it. I loved spending the week prior with Gary, working our buns off to make everything happen, even taking pictures in below freezing weather at 9am. The one part I didn't like? That would definitely be the part where our musician flaked. She has yet to tell me she wouldn't make it or even to apologize. I'm a little bit frustrated because I really want to take the high road but as the days go by I actually become a bit more upset by it. ( a blog about how much fun Gary & I had with all our friends and family and PICTURES will soon follow :)! Stay tuned)
This particular person was a friend of mine. She's a fun, flamboyant, sassy girl that can always brighten the room. She was very nice to me while I was without my friends in Decorah post-college. I found myself hoping she'd be working when Gary & I would go to Tbocks. That is actually where she and I first talked about her playing for Gary & my wedding. She happily accepted. From there, it was on both of our back burners. I must admit, I wasn't too concerned about the music at our wedding because I knew how She played and what she could do. About a month before, I decided to start nailing some details down. This friend and I decided to meet at Rubaiyat for drinks & dinner to discuss what I was looking for and what she was capable of. This is where I started wondering about her reliability. I saw on her facebook that she would be heading to Florida for spring training. Yes, she's a HUGE Twins fan. I was okay with that up until I noticed that she'd be going to the Friday (March 25) game. I wrote a note on her status asking if she could still play. Did she respond? No. Instead she deleted my comment. SOOOOOOO when she finally showed up for dinner, I asked her point blank if she could still play at the wedding on the 26th. Her response? Oh of course, I'll be back by then. I guess I should have called her on her lie but instead she said she'd put together a list of songs for me to choose from. We left that meeting still on good footing. Unfortunately I never heard from her again. I wrote her a couple of times, sent her a text message, but nothing. (Calling would have been worthless because she is actually a busy girl) At that point she was definitely ignoring me because she was constantly updating her facebook statuses.
Though I wanted to believe she would make it, it wasn't until March 23, three days before the wedding, where I was convinced she wasn't going to be at our wedding. She posted a picture of all the tickets she had for her time in Florida. There was one for March 25th and also one for March 27th.
I was really pissed off as you can imagine but kept my composure because I was always intrigued about making our own playlist for songs we'd walk out to and what not (I'd even put it on my to-do list to make a backup cd). Luckily I had also taken her name off the ceremony programs awhile back AND did not include any music other than the processional and recessional.
I really wish this person would have stepped up and let me know sooner that she wouldn't be playing. Though Gary & I made it work, we spent a LOT of time & money making it all happen. We spent precious moments the days leading up to the wedding working on this that I would have much rather spent with family or even just Gary & myself. We spent a good 5 hours Thursday evening (until 1:30am) picking out the music). I spent 2 hours Friday morning (8am-10am) downloading and then realizing that my computer can't burn cds AND then somehow sharing my itunes with Gary's itunes to burn the music on the wrong cds. Of course I didn't know they were the wrong cds until Gary & I were busy decorating Friday afternoon. Because we had the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, Gary wasn't able to buy the correct cds until 9:30-10p. I spent a good hour or two the night before our wedding without Gary by my side. Luckily, we figured out the right cds to use and it went off without a hitch, but I'm still upset about how much precious time was wasted in the last minutes. This is me taking it off my chest so that I don't have to think about it anymore. I loved every other minute of our wedding so that will trump this.
The last annoyance with this person? All her damn status updates on facebook. It's like she's been flaunting the fact she wasn't here. I'm sorry but how rude.
PS: Thank you for NOT playing at our wedding. Gary & I made our wedding that much more special to us by having chosen our own fun songs to play. Thank you for allowing us to have only those most important at our wedding that actually care. Have a good life but I sure hope you grow up to be a more mature human being that can still be the fun, sassy girl I used to know and appreciate.
Stay tuned)

It's a new day!
AND a blizzardy one. I am leaving Decorah for good today, but I do believe the weather gods are a little confused about my leaving. Decorah has gotten sooooooo used to me living here so I think that they are trying to divert my traveling for another day. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! I have a lease to sign, an apartment to move into and a job to start. I have to get there! Seriously though, I could have waited until the morning to drive up but my lovely sister has a flight that will attempt to leave tonight at 9:30pm. Let's hope she's able to fly out......I only have one air mattress :) In all sincerity, I am glad to be leaving today. I want to be able to get the apartment stuff out of the way before I start work tomorrow. Also, I hope to take all of my clothes along with me so I'll have a fun little project to work on until all my other belongings and furniture make it up. Another wrench? The tailgate on my parents' vehicle won't open. What did I tell you about the world not wanting me to leave? We'll make it work and I WILL get all the tubs and suitcases in that trunk. I am determined.
Funny side story: I woke up early this morning thinking about something very important. Food. How on earth did I forget about food? A list, shower and a couple hours later, I am fully stocked for the next week or so. I reaaaaaaaaaaaally don't want to go outside more than I will have to up in blizzardy Minneapolis. Thank you to everyone who have given me Fareway gift cards too. Totally came in handy :)
Lastly, I am sad to leave Gary. I know how it was when I was in Chicago and it'll be just like that. EXCEPT we have something really exciting to look forward to - MARRIAGE! In just over one month, we will be married. I am more than confident that that fact alone will get us through this much better than Chicago. And surprise!!! Gary thought I'd be gone before he got back at 10:15 :) See you soon, Honey Bear!!
PS: A blog about the awesome bridal shower will follow soonish...I won't have internet for awhile, but it'll come eventually.

oops...
I just about burnt the house down!
I was boiling water for some spaghetti but accidentally turned the dial to the wrong burner. The wrong burner had a pot of cooked potatoes (w/ no water) on it. I was busy copying recipes so I waited a bit longer than necessary to go check on it. By the time I got there, they had already fixed it..... No worries, the potatoes are safe but the pot it was in is a little burned. MY BAD!
Random thought: What is with the plaid attire at country concerts? I don't get it...

Straight from weather.com -->
* DANGEROUS BLIZZARD CONDITIONS AND WHITEOUT ARE EXPECTED LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. WINDS OF 30 TO 40 MPH AND HEAVY SNOW WILL CAUSE ZERO VISIBILITY AND COULD CLOSE ROADS AND POSSIBLY PREVENT EMERGENCY SERVICES... ESPECIALLY TONIGHT.
I'm not liking the sound of this. Especially since I have to work a wedding from 1pm-6pm and then a holiday party from 5pm-midnight AND reset for an event on Monday. Oh boy. Let's hope the holiday party cancels. My life would be so much easier!
Good thing I live less than 2 miles away :)
(but still!!)

have a donut, don't say no.
Gary's sleeping.
I'm working on fun excel stuff.
That stupid fashion show on Bravo is on.
I turned on Pandora.
I was greeted by a song I LOVE but haven't heard in awhile.
All the Above. Maino.
Loves it.

Fast forward to 2 seconds later.
I had 2 tabs going on my internet window.
Instead of getting out of my blog back to my email, I got out of Pandora.
In the middle of the fabulous song.
Oops :)

What was I thinking?
I have some good ideas once in awhile. Today, however, was not one of those days.
When I woke up this morning, I made a personal goal to go walking/take some pictures before the end of the day. By 7pm I was ready. I thought, "perhaps I'll walk to whippy dip and back" Well, when I reached the bridge right before whippy dip, I turned to walk on the dike. Then I thought, "perhaps, I'll walk on the trail up ahead." Well, I walk into the trail and there's bugs and it's a little hotter since there's less wind. I then think, "perhaps I will only go for about 10 minutes." 25 minutes later, I'm still on the stupid trail. At this point I'm fairly intrigued because I had never gone that far before so I just kept walking. I eventually ran into the highway. Yeah, highway 52. "why not walk to gary." So I preceded to walk ON THE HIGHWAY (both 52 and 9) to visit Gary. He was surprised :) It was cute. Then I got some bad news. Gary didn't drive so I had to walk all the way back to Baker. Bummer. By 9:15p I was back home but gosh I was tired. Good thing I had my air conditioning on full blast.
2 hours and 15 minutes later I had walked just over 5 miles. What was I thinking? I did get some good pics out of the walk and also a really tasty ice cream cone. The cone however leaked allllllllllllll over my hand and pant leg. I was a sticky hot mess.
My favorite picture of the walk:
the end.

LA Candy
Today marks the 3rd day of complete Hills domination. I haven't been able to stop watching the show. I'm obsessed.
In other news, I do believe the person who cut my hair was on crack. I got approx. 5 inches off and asked for layers. It's a bit short, but all is well because it stillllll fits into a ponytail (thank god!). However, when I finally got around to blowdrying/straightening it, I noticed a few things that only someone on crack would have done.
1. the two sides are not exactly the same length, but it's only noticeable to me.
2. the layers are ALL over the place. I should have said I wanted a uniform look and only .5-1 inch layers. My fault...
3. There is an underneath layer of hair that is a good inch shorter than the outer layers of hair. Wow. Who does that?
All in all, I'm fine with my hair cut because it was free, but honestly, hair is hair. It will grow back and I will cut it again. I just hope it looks decent for graduation and engagement pics ;) We shall see.
Lastly, I googled how long it would take me to get home if I walked. 3 days 15 minutes. Gary, see you in a few!
Now back to the Hills.

making bad, bad, very bad decisions is no fun
I vow NEVER to watch Grey's drunk ever again.
Last night was a bit of an adventure. One that I had not expected and one that I wish I could take back. I like simple nights, no spinning and going to bed early. It was but any of those things :)
I got home from work at about 6:15p and made a quick tortilla pizza for dinner before heading out for the art event at 7p. My roommate had a beer so I thought, "I want to pop a bottle too!" So I had one. It all went down from there... Soon after the conversation about our weekend began. My roommates wanted to go out but I knew that I didn't want to nor did I want to spend the money to do so. However, it soon went to going downstairs to McFadden's for one drink before greys. That I could handle. Thus, we headed to the bar. I fully intended to buy a beer but somehow allowed myself to become seduced by the $5 martini menu. NEVER AGAIN! I don't do vodka. ew. I am a beer girl through and through. After another beer and a free shot from the bartender, I was more than okay.
We made it back upstairs at about 8:20 but no worries. We had DVRed (?) the show. I tried to watch the show but at that point I was getting the spins. I really hate the spins. I was fine but couldn't lay down which is what I really wanted to do. I'd at least go to bed early ;-)
I did manage to go to bed early but whenever I drink what I did, I wake up early at the crack of dawn. 5:15 this time. Damn.
Now I am rewatching grey's and OMG! It's back!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone is funny again! I can't believe I almost missed that...
Two valuable lessons:
1. Spontenaity is not for me.
2. Don't drink martinis. or free shots.

Let's go to the Mall.........TODAY!
Today has been the laziest day EVER!
Elaine and I were social for once last night = Howl at the Moon piano bar with sweet ass deals. We took some pictures, drank a few drinks, attempted to talk to ppl (it was soooooo loud!) Overall it was a lot of fun but we left at around 9-9:30 to watch Sex in the City at the apartment. Always making poor life choices, we both grabbed some more alcohol on the way. It's not that I had too many but it was having so many without much food in my system. Silly me didn't eat much thinking that the beer would fill me up. Was I just born? I'm such an idiot because today, the day I was hoping would be the most productive, has gone to complete laziness. Even now I feel slightly hungover. Ridic! I did manage to read 10 pgs in a book, but that is honestly the first and last productive activity of the entire day. What a waste.
Tonight should be fun though. Elaine, Tabitha and her boyfriend Matt and myself (& perhaps some others) are going to meet up at the Signature Lounge in the Hancock building to watch the fireworks and then head to the Cheesecake factory for dessert. Mmm Mmm Mmm. I vow to take some pictures.
Now if I can only manage to put some make-up on.....
wish me luck ;)
